To sum it up, this EP flat-out rages for four songs/fourteen minutes. Sure, it's not that many minutes for your buck but if you ask me I'd much rather have four songs that I actually want to listen to over and over again rather than ten songs of such uneven quality that I never make it to the last one. So if you haven't picked up a Hydra Head release in a while, this Knut EP is a great value for your money, and it's a good representation of this style played well. Check this out, and if you like it hop on the Hydra Head gravy train and stay on there, because if one puts faith in precedent it will only get better from here.
